College Park

Vibrant Community With A Small Town Feel!

The affluent College Park neighborhood is known for its 20th-century cottages, abundant green spaces and lakes. Lake Ivanhoe, in particular, is popular for waterskiing, wakeboarding and its views of the downtown skyline. The neighborhood is also home to the Dubsdread Golf Course, which dates back to the 1920s. Clustered along the main street, Edgewater Drive, are gastropubs, hip boutiques and vintage stores. Act fast and you may still find a real estate bargain in quaint College Park, where many bungalow-lined streets (Harvard, Yale, Vassar, etc.) are named for famed institutions of higher learning.

Ground zero for shopping, dining and nightlife is the intersection of Princeton and Edgewater – CP’s de facto “Main Street. College Park is inundated with lovely lakes. Many boast paved paths for walking and even parks with playgrounds for the kids, most notably Lake Ivanhoe and Lake Adair. Albert  Lee Park doesn’t, but makes a great, shady lunch spot. Combine lunch or dinner in College Park with a visit to one of nearby Loch Haven Park's cultural attractions, which include the Orlando Science Center, Mennello Museum of American Art and Orlando Shakespeare Theater.
